Five Decades of Distinction Book

Tri-County Technical College: Five Decades of Distinction is a 100-page book written to commemorate the College's five decades of service to the citizens of Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties. This book chronicles the events that have shaped the College into the role model for community college education that it is today and documents its history with business, industry, donors, local school districts, and colleges and universities.

Through stories accompanied by historic and present-day photographs, this commemorative book illustrates the College's long-standing mission, the 1961 legislation which founded the Technical College System in our State, which states: "The greatest single resource that South Carolina has is its people."

The publication will be unveiled at the 50th anniversary kick-off reception scheduled for January 26, 2012. Following the reception, the book will be available to view online and for purchase through the Campus Store.
