Groundbreaking Ceremony: Anderson Campus QuickJobs Development Center: Friday, March 9, 2012, 10:30 a.m., Anderson Campus, 511 Michelin Blvd., Anderson. (Public welcome)

Look Back, Plan Ahead! Pendleton Campus Open House: Friday, March 9, 2012, 2-6 pm. Prospective students will have the opportunity to learn about the history of our College while learning about our programs and services. (public welcome)

Paws to Celebrate: Veterinary Technology Pet Adoption Day, Halbert Hall, Pendleton Campus. (March 15, 2-6pm ) (public welcome)

Celebrating 50 Years of Service: Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Banquet (Details TBA)

Cat in the Hat Ball:  In celebration of Dr. Seuss's Birthday, the Inspiring Futures student club will host a Cat in the Hat Ball. Entrance fee will be the donation of new or gently used book that will be donated to local organizations. (Student Center Cafe, Pendleton Campus, March 15, 4:30-7 pm)

Turning the Pages of Time - 50 Books for 50 Years : Throughout Fall Semester, Early Childhood Development students will read a variety of children's books from the last 50 years to young students in area public schools and childcare centers.

Do You Dig History? Time Capsule Burial: Wed., October 24, 12-2pm. During September and October, students will collect College memorabilia and other items representative of 2012 to be included in a time capsule which will be buried during a ceremony October 24 celebrating the 50th anniversary of the College. The time capsule will be dug up in 2062, the 100th anniversary of the College. (public welcome)

Premier Cycling Event: Attack on Sassafras Mountain. Easley Campus signature event in cooperation with the Pickens County YMCA. Visit www.attackonsassafras.com  (Saturday, October 13)
