Associate in Arts and Associate in Science

At Tri-County Technical College, start your postsecondary education close to home with confidence, knowing that you'll be saving money, giving yourself time to make important decisions, earning a top-notch education, and getting the full college experience-all before you transfer to a four-year college or university to obtain your bachelor's degree. In fact, 40% of all graduating high school seniors begin their college education at community colleges just like this one.

The Associate in Arts program is designed for students who plan careers in business, education, journalism, psychology or another liberal arts field. It is designed to give students the opportunity to complete the first two years of college work at Tri-County Technical College and then transfer to a four-year institution to complete their bachelor's degree. For maximum transfer of credit, students should work with their academic advisors to review the requirements for their anticipated major at the college to which they plan to transfer and schedule their courses accordingly.

The Associate in Science program is designed for students who plan careers in computer science, engineering, medicine, agriculture, or another science- related area.
