PENDLETON --- Tri-County Technical College's Veterinary Technology Department will hold a Pet Adoption Day Thursday, March 15, from 2 - 6 p.m. at Halbert Hall on its Pendleton Campus. Titled "Paws to Celebrate, " the event is part of the College's 50th anniversary celebration.
The dogs are trained with basic commands on a gentle leader head collar and have been socialized with many people. The cats are handled constantly for socialization and enjoy playtime together. All animals have been spayed or neutered, received current vaccinations, have been dewormed and checked for heartworms or feline leukemia.
There is a $45 fee, which includes a microchip and registration, payable at the time of adoption. For more details and pictures of the animals up for adoption, go to tctc.edu and click on Upcoming Events, then click Pet Adoption on the Featured Events page.
