Student Success Programs and Services

New Student Orientation

A comprehensive orientation program is provided for Bridge students and their parents in the summer before classes begin. During this session, students learn more about the programs and services offered through the Bridge Program, receive academic advising and register for their fall semester classes.

Academic Advising

Participants have access to professional academic advising and are encouraged to participate in the advising programs specifically designed for their needs. TCTC academic advisers are knowledgeable about Clemson and Bridge academic requirements. A Clemson coordinator is available to meet with Bridge students throughout their freshman year and to follow up after Clemson enrollment.

Academic Success Resources

The academic support resources of both TCTC and Clemson are available to help students succeed. TCTC offers a variety of academic assistance services including a learning lab for science and math, a writing center and math workshops. Clemson's Academic Success Center provides a variety of student-centered programs and services, including tutoring and supplemental instruction at the Bridge Student Success Center. By combining the power of both institutions, students have access to services that can make a difference in the transition from high school to college.
