Hands-on training programs at Tri-County take students well beyond the boundaries of the classroom setting. In the General Engineering Technology program, for example, recent student projects include making biodiesel fuel, a solar-powered go-cart, a wind-generator, a powerful electromagnet, skittle-sorter, and a geodome. And, more good news! Engineering technicians are ranked in the top fifty fastest growing career fields in South Carolina by the US Department of Labor.
