Ashley's life has taken many twists and turns since 1998 when she graduated, at age 16, from Palmetto High School. After a series of traumatic family events, Ashley was forced to abandon her college dreams to go to work and support her family. Fourteen years later, she is embarking on her college dream at Tri-County's Easley Campus. "The encouragement of all the staff and instructors at Tri-County has opened doors for me that I thought could never be opened," said Ashley, who plans to transfer to Clemson to major in Genetics and Psychology.
