Transient and Non-Degree Enrollment Steps
If you want to take a few credit courses but have no intention of graduating from Tri-County, you may apply as a Transient or Non-Degree Student. There are two application options:
- Online Admissions Application
- Admissions Application (PDF) - submit the completed application to Tri-County's Admissions Office, PO Box 587, Pendleton, SC 29670
Apply and pay the $30 non-refundable application fee by the deadline dates listed below:
Spring Semester, Session C (2nd 7 weeks) - 5 p.m., February 27, 2012 - PDF Application Only
Summer Semester - 5 p.m., May 2, 2012
Fall Semester - 5 p.m., July 30, 2012
Mailed applications and payments must be received on or before the deadline.
Additional Information:
- If you plan to transfer one or more Tri-County courses back to your home college, apply as a Transient student and submit the completed Transient Coursework Approval Form to the Student Records Office located in Miller Hall on the Pendleton Campus. Satisfaction of course prerequisites is indicated via signature of the home institution's registrar.
- If you do not plan to transfer courses back to a college, apply as a Non-Degree student. Proof of prerequisite completion will need to be provided to the appropriate Tri-County department heads for any courses that have prerequisites.
- Registration for Transient and Non-Degree students begins on Transient Student Registration Day.
- Transient and Non-Degree students are not eligible for financial aid or VA benefits.
