I can count on an education that employers respect

Lamar Dendy
I can count on hands-on training that teaches real-world skills.

Lamar is a maintenance technician at U.S. Engine Valve where he has been employed for 21 years. Over the years, Lamar has taken advantage of various types of training through the College's Corporate and Community Education Division. He completed the Primedia courses (online maintenance technician training) several years ago and now is enrolled in a Mechatronics class that focuses on the blending of mechanical and electrical skills. "Mechatronics classes make me a better employee," said Lamar. "The material is relevant to my job, and the instructor uses a hands-on training format that makes you want to learn more. U.S. Engine Valve values its employees and invests in training to make us the best employees we can be."
