Basic Construction Courses

The following courses in basic construction and construction exam prep are available. 

Basic Construction Skills Certificate
Preparation for entry-level work in both the highway and building construction industries or for pursuit of additional training in a specific construction trade. 

Basic Masonry
Course Description
Learn how to lay brick according to industry standards and esthetic appeal. Learn basic safety, use of hand and power tools, and how to spread mortar, lay simple walls, and the techniques to build steps, BBQ pits, and more. 

Basic Plumbing
Course Description
Learn the basics of Plumbing.
