Join us as we paint/draw the night away!! A fantastic way to relieve stress, express yourself and just have fun! Tri-County Technical College offers a variety of Arts & Crafts courses. Our course offerings include:
ACRYLIC PAINTING - BASIC
This course is for students just beginning or with little experience in acrylic painting. Students will paint with teacher step by step.
WET ON WET OIL PAINTING for Beginners
In this beginner class you will develop skills in wet on wet oil painting as seen weekly on North Carolina PBS stations made popular by Bob Ross. The student will paint with the instructor step by step in this 6 weeks class. See below for supply list -- make sure to get brushes for oil painting.
Wet on Wet Oil Painting Supply List
WATERCOLOR
This class is for beginners and intermediate painters. We will work with the 4 basic watercolor techniques to create several works during the 6 week class period. The student will work along with the teacher to learn and improve their watercolor skills. See below for supply list - make sure to get brushes for watercolor.
BASIC DRAWING
An introductory class developed for you to learn the fundamentals of drawing techniques. The focus will be on drawing from observation, including still life and the option to draw using photographic source material. See below for supply list.
INTERMEDIATE DRAWING
Students will broaden their drawing skills. Portraiture and techniques on how to draw the human figure will be emphasized. See below for supply list.
