Purpose

The Foundation works to create awareness within the community of the financial needs of the College not met by state or federal support and to implement a plan by which these financial needs can be met through private gifts.

To fulfill these purposes, the Foundation institutes an organized program for obtaining support from alumni, friends, faculty and staff, corporations, organizations, and private foundations.

In addition to soliciting major gifts for the College, the Foundation accepts, holds, invests, reinvests and administers any gifts, bequests, and grants in money or property given to the Foundation.
