Advanced Standing
There are numerous ways you can enter the College with advanced standing (receive credit based on previous coursework or learning experiences). Several conditions will apply in awarding advanced standing through any of the methods described below.
- Transfer of Credit from Other Regionally Accredited Postsecondary Institutions
- Credit by Examination (administered by Tri-County Technical College)
- Exemption by Externally Administered Examinations
- Advanced Placement Examinations
- Military Education
- Technical Advanced Placement (TAP)
- Documented Work Experience
- Noncollegiate Organization Training Programs
