Tri-County offers a variety of courses for security and law enforcement personnel and the public to help make our community a safer place to live. Tri-County Technical College is offerings the new SLED-approved Private Security Officer Certificate Program. This program allows prospective and current security officers to earn an elevated SLED credential.
Tri-County is a primary training provider for security officers whose companies want them to be company trainers. Two 40-hour train-the-trainer courses are offered (SLED Level I Security - Classroom Instructor and SLED Level II/III Security - Firearms Instructor).
