Library Services for Distance Learners
The Library is happy to help any of TCTC's Distance Learners. We have developed a few resources so that you can start the process.
First, look at the resource page: http://library.tctc.edu/DistanceLearning to see if you can locate the information you need.
Second, if you are looking for articles search our database which includes journals, newspapers, reference books, legal cases, and business reports. You will find full-text articles in these databases and may print or email them to yourself. The best place to start is with our initial database page at http://library.tctc.edu/databases. From there you can select the database that best suits your needs. When you initially access it, you will be asked for you "T" number. Please include the "T" and all the "0" to gain access if you are not on a TCTC campus.
Third, try our MegaSearch Discovery Service. The search box is prominently featured on our page at http://library.tctc.edu/index.php. There is also a link to our print catalog and our ebooks. For print books, we do deliver via courier to all the TCTC campuses. However, we do realize that some of you may not be able to come to a TCTC campus during the semester. If that is your situation then fill out our Book Request Form. You may request up to six books. We will mail materials to you or to your host library. Allow about one week for delivery. You may keep the books for 4 weeks with the option of renewing them. Items must be returned to the TCTC library or to your host library.
Finally remember if any of these solutions do not work for you, please contact us. Our telephone number is (864)646-1750. Our email is email@example.com. We are also available via instant messaging. See our home page at http://library.tctc.edu/index.php for that link. Finally, you can send us a message via our Twitter account
