Serving Those Who Served

Veterans' Services

U.S. Marine Corps Color Guard

Tri-County Technical College deeply values the service and sacrifices of our veterans, and we are committed to assisting them in their transition from uniform to classroom and beyond.

  Patriots' Place

Patriots Place

In Fall 2013, we opened Patriots' Place, a resource center and lounge for our student veterans. Patriots' Place offers several amenities, including campus wi-fi, meeting spaces, and a study area with refreshments.

To further assist our student veterans, Tri-County Technical College has created the Veterans and Advocates Leadership Team (VALT), which allows students the opportunity to connect to veteran resources within our communities quickly and easily. The VALT team includes representatives from area Veterans Affairs offices, The Alston Wilkes Society, The Vet Center, SC Works, Upstate Warrior Solution, Military Transition Services, and many more!

VALT members include:

 Janet Fuller (TCTC)

Stephanie Winkler (TCTC)

Andrew Bolt (Military Transition Services)

Sheila Stone-Gray (The Vet Center)

Samuel Lewis (Veterans Affairs Office, Anderson County)

Patty Manley (SC Works WorkLink)

Carlton Patterson and John Palmer (American Legion, Seneca Post)

Derrick Popham (Upstate Warrior Solution)
