PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: As a student in Early Childhood Development (ECD), you will develop knowledge about the growth and development of young children; develop skills for positive, developmentally appropriate methods of working with young children; and receive instruction in all curriculum areas of child development.

  3. Pass a TAP exam with a grade of “C” or better. (The exam will cover historical events, learning theories, impacts of childcare on educational achievement, basic requirements for state licensure, safety issues, nutrition concepts, and childhood diseases.)
