The Hayden Abney Fulp Building represents Tri-County Technical Collegeâs latest commitment to meeting the educational needs of the people of Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens Counties. Research suggests that nearly 80% of technician job growth in the next decade will come in services, half of it in health services. The building equips Tri-County to prepare health care technicians for a rapidly growing community.

The five-story 84,000-square-foot building houses 37 laboratories and ancillary facilities; 17 classrooms; and offices for the health education division, science faculty, and early childhood education and radio and television broadcasting departments. The fourth floor contains a simulated hospital nursing unit.

Located in the building are the dental assisting, early childhood development, medical laboratory technology, associate degree nursing, practical nursing, surgical technology, radio and television broadcasting, and science programs.

Designed by Nix, Mann, Perkins and Will of Atlanta, the building was constructed by M.B. Kahn Construction Company of Greenville. The Hayden Abney Fulp Building is Tri-Countyâs largest and is located in the center of the campus.
