Criminal Justice Technology
Associate Degree in Public Service
Criminal Justice Technology majors acquire the knowledge and skills needed to professionally work within the criminal justice system. In addition to practical, theoretical and technical applications of law enforcement, the curriculum provides an overview of courts and corrections services. An examination of the interaction of education and human service agencies with the various components of the criminal justice system is emphasized. Survey courses in the disciplines of psychology, sociology and political science are important for a broad understanding of the criminal justice system.
