PERIOPERATIVE NURSING CERTIFICATE

This is an AORN (Association of Operating Room Nurses) approved Certificate. Many hospitals want to ensure that all of their OR nurses, although experienced nurses, have the broad knowledge and skills needed for today's highly technical operating room environment. AORN is the gold standard for policies and procedures used in the perioperative environment. You will experience in-depth study and hands on practice with the resources of our surgical technology classroom and mock OR suite and extensive surgery instrument room. Most basic nursing programs do not include much OR experience if any. Our PeriOperative Nursing Certificate program provides you with the latest relevant knowledge and skills needed for competence in the perioperative environment.

Great for hospital staff, outpatient surgery center staff, and staff from other facilities involved in this specialty area.
