Pendleton Campus Front Drive Construction

Front Drive Updates as of August 18, 2026

Traffic is one-way only, traveling from south to north. Please note that part of the area remains within the construction zone, and parking is not permitted there. When traveling through the area, please use caution.

Visitor parking is available in front of Miller Hall. Accessible parking is available in front of Anderson Hall and Pickens Hall. Pickens Hall remains off limits until the end of the project. A final asphalt surface layer is scheduled to be completed in mid-September.

Front Drive Updates as of July 21, 2026

Curb and gutter installation, along with widening and regrading of the Front Drive continues. Demolition of the hillside leading down from Oconee Hall began July 20. Weather permitting, all work is expected to be completed and the front drive reopened by August 17.

Front Drive Updates as of July 9, 2026

Work has started on the Front Drive as part of the Pickens Hall project. The old asphalt is being removed to make way for a wider, more accessible entrance. Crews are also installing new curbs and gutters and beginning grading work.

Weather permitting, the project is expected to be complete by August 17. These improvements will support better access to campus and enhance the overall campus experience.

Front Drive Updates as of June 26, 2026

 

From June 29 through August 17, the Front Drive on the Pendleton Campus will be closed for construction to support facility improvements. During this time, no vehicle or pedestrian access will be permitted along the Front Drive. Accordingly, parking will not be available along the Front Drive nor in parking lots H1, H2, IBDC, and Wilson Hall.

Additional ADA parking will be available at Fulp Hall and the Student Success Center. Those with a DMV-issued parking placard may park in an ADA spot. Any employee needing an accommodation consideration should contact Human Resources at hr@tctc.edu.
