About the Event

For the past six years, Tri-County Technical College has proudly hosted an annual fall luncheon designed to motivate, educate, and inspire minority male students across the tri-county region. We are excited to continue this tradition in 2025—with a few important updates.

Helen Rosemond-Saunders

This year’s event will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, and will now be known as the Helen Rosemond-Saunders Pathway to Success Luncheon, in honor of long-time educator, TCTC Commissioner, and Oconee County resident Helen Rosemond-Saunders.

We are also expanding the scope of the event. While any high school student from the tri-county area is welcome to attend, the primary focus will be on under-resourced students, especially those who may be the first in their families to attend college. Additionally, we are pleased to open the event to both male and female high school students this year. Please note that, due to space limitations, middle school students will no longer be included in the luncheon.

There is no fee to attend, and lunch will be provided. Following the luncheon, students will have the opportunity to tour the Pendleton Campus.

TCTC will contact area high schools in August to register. For questions, contact pr@tctc.edu.
