CULINARY ARTS
With the opening of Tri-County Technical Colleges Anderson Campus comes the addition of a new culinary arts lab and our new culinary arts program, the Atlas Food Systems and Services Culinary Arts Program. The lab will provide you with a program of study that will include more hours of training and a stronger experience through our Culinary Arts Training program. We offer four areas of studies:
COOKING WITH CLASS
We are fortunate to be joined by 2 of the areas best
restaurants in presenting this new series of classes
in time to kick off the fall. The executive chefs will
be providing some of their very own professional
cooking techniques and/or recipes. All classes will be held in the culinary arts lab on the Anderson campus. If you have ever dreamed of learning professional cooking techniques here is your chance! Enrollment is limited for all classes. You may register for an entire series at a discount, or for individual classes. There is no senior discount for these special classes. CULINARY ARTS CERTIFICATE - Day Program
This certificate program is designed to prepare you with the necessary educational training for entry level employment and success in the culinary arts industry. Instructors will discuss and demonstrate methods and techniques that will provide the fundamentals of the culinary arts industry. To receive a certificate, the courses listed below must be completed. All classes involve hands-on training suggested by area food service vendors/managers as necessary for an individual to enter and pursue a career in the food service industry. Each class is 30 hours in length and meets Monday Friday, 9:00 am 3:00 pm. Upon completion of this program you will receive a certificate indicating that you have received 420 hours of culinary arts training. EVENING CULINARY STUDIES
The evening certificate program is designed for individuals who cannot attend our advanced day program but who still would like to gain culinary skills needed to enter the food service industry. This program is also a great opportunity for individuals who want to become more comfortable and more proficient in the kitchen. We will also offer a variety of culinary classes in the evening or on the weekend that will be just for fun!
CERTIFICATE IN CULINARY ARTS – Evening Program
Upon completion of the following courses you will receive a Certificate in Culinary Arts indicating that you’ve completed 254 hours of culinary arts training.. See the schedule listed on this page for times and dates of classes.

BAKING CERTIFICATE
