Baton Pre-Basic Course to be held February 8. A new course will
be offered on Tuesday, February 8 from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm to teach
qualified private security officers basic techniques, enabling them
to defend themselves and others and to control non-compliant subjects

Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation Seminar to be offered
March 22 -24. More than 150,000 professionals in the law enforcement
and security fields have attended this three-day program since it was
first offered in 1974. Participants come from both the private sector
(retailing, finance, health care, manufacturing, etc.) and the public
sector, including all levels of law enforcement and government; from
every U.S. State and Canadian Province, as well as countries in Europe,
Asia, and the Middle East. The program will be offered March 22 - 24,
2005 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Industrial and Business Development
Center at Tri-County Technical College. The cost is $395 per person.
