Modeling/Dressing/Speaking for Success – If you long to be in the spotlight and get involved with modeling, you first have to learn how to present yourself. In this class you will not only work on modeling techniques but you will discuss self-concept, explore career choices, define life roles, learn about problem solving, decision making, establishing priorities and how to make informed decisions.

Acting/Drama – You will learn about method acting in this exciting program. Develop your skills as an actor/actress as you create and put on a play for the last day of this program.

Measuring UP! – Healthy eating and living is very important in today’s society. You will learn how to cook healthy, what is the food pyramid and define what is a healthy lifestyle. You will leave the class with several recipes that you can prepare for your family and help them to become healthy as well.

Spanish – Hablo Espanol? By the end of the week you will! You will have the opportunity to develop some Spanish language skills as well as learn about the Hispanic culture throughout the week.

Cake Decorating – By the end of the week you will be able to decorate a cake for your own party! This instructor will provide you with the skills needed for you to be able to take care of your own cakes instead of ordering them. Materials and supplies provided.

Let the Games Begin! – All the games you can think of UNPLUGGED! Card games, board games, active games(indoors or out) and individual games! Great fun!

An Artist a Day! – Claude Monet, Georgia O’Keefe, art of Origami will be studied with hands on activities! Learn new techniques in the style of the artist!

GermBusters! – What are germs? Discussion of taking care or yourself through discussion and modeling good behavior through good food choices, behavior choices, exercising, good dental hygiene and respect for student’s body as well as respect for others. Exercise to music, food collage, proper hand washing and much more!

Fashion Crafts! – Learn to make accessories for your fashion sense! Make a collage belt, macramé beaded bracelet or anklet, felt purse, knit a scarf, and much, much more!

Juvenile Investigators in Training! – A great course on self-defense tips, actual criminal investigation with a student from Anderson University studying law enforcement, forensic activities(fingerprinting) and the court systems! Can you solve the case?

Holidays Around the World – This class will take a look at how holidays are celebrated around the world. Students will learn the origins, make crafts, read books and taste dishes associated with various holidays! Sing songs, make food and create keepsakes to remind them of the holidays!

Writing Palooza! – All sorts of writing will be covered in this fun writing class. Types of writing will include nature journaling, creative fiction, creative non fiction, found poem and collaborative writing

There Ought to Be a Law! – Cover the Constitution of the US> Why do we have laws? How does a law get made? Community roles and importance of our roles in work and to help others. Living with influence…… Should we follow the crowd? Role playing also takes place in this informative fun course!

Cheerleading! – Campers will learn safe, fun and age-appropriate stunts, motions, chants, jumps and tumbling skills. Great fun!

EcoFitness – Presentation of proper daily routines including diet and exercise plans, healthy hobbies, proper sleep habits. Yoga, Pilates and kick-boxing included in workouts!

Creative Canvas – Students will learn to use plastic canvas to create a name grid. Different sorts of stitches will be learned and used in the name grid design.

Babysitting 101- What every mom wishes their babysitter knew! Basic rules for babysitting, answering phone, don’t answer door or have friends over, etc., basic first aid, how to diaper properly, making fun snacks, games and bedtime! Much, much more!

Easy Being Green! – It is our responsibility to take care of our planet! You will learn how to take care or our planet by making wise choices. Learn to recycle, make Trash Art from clean garbage, learn grocery tips by buying smart and make an advertisement poster on Being Green!

Basic Computer Animation – Learn the basics of digital through basic movements, frame creating and saving animation characters! Create a story board and combine graphics and animation together. A short movie will be created!

Podcasting! – Learn to edit, mix sounds, music and voice recordings. Create a script that includes sound effects, music and editing. Record your voice in your podcast and finalize your work by saving it to an mp3 format! Finally you can share it with the world on the Postcast Website!

Bump, Set, Spike! – Volley ball camp that includes stretching, warm-ups, basic techniques, serving techniques and scrimmaging!

Perfectly Playful Poetry Portfolios! – Read and explore several types of poetry and begin a webquest on poetry, recite and dramatize examples of poetry, write personal poems and illustrate them!

Stained Glass – Create your own stained glass mosaic pieces. Skills will include mosaic design, glass cutting and mosaic construction. You will also create your own stained glass panel.

Party Pizazz! – Learn to plan the best parties! You will create and participate in a Luau, Hanna Montana Party, Birthday parties and much more! You will be responsible for planning the party, making the party decorations and enjoying the festivities!
