PENDLETON --- Soon-to-be graduates and those seeking employment are invited to meet with prospective employers at Tri-County Technical College's 10th Annual College and Career Fair.

Student Support Services, a TRIO program at Tri-County, will sponsor the event March 3 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Student Center/Cafeteria area. College representatives will be on hand from 10 a.m. – noon, and business and industry will be set up from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. This year's fair is dedicated to retiring President Don C. Garrison.

Cindy Trimmier-Lee, coordinator of Student Support Services, advises attendees to come with resumes in hand. "Because of a sluggish economy, many people have returned to college to pursue a degree or are retraining for a new career. The event will give persons a chance to get new information about the job market."

She added that college representatives will be accepting applications and talking individually with those who are planning to transfer to senior institutions.

"We urge everyone to take advantage of the unique opportunity of having a number of sources in one place," said Mrs. Trimmier-Lee.

The event is free and open to the public. It is held in conjunction with the Carolinas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (CACRAO).
