PENDLETON --- Assume personal responsibility for your success in the workplace by keeping current in your field of study, Audra McPeak, chair of the health education division at Tri-County Technical College, told the students at a pinning for the College's Dental Assisting, Practical Nursing and Surgical Technology departments.
"Be responsible for your own career by keeping up your level of knowledge. It doesn't take long to get outdated," said Mrs. McPeak, who holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Kansas and a master's from Clemson University.
