Laughter Therapy is Topic of September 30 SeminarCONTACT: PAULETTE GRATE, EXT. 2115 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 9/24/99 PENDLETON --- Learn proven techniques of how to make stress productive at an upcoming Tri-County Technical College seminar. Dr. Farris Jordan, a psychologist and motivational speaker, will promote laughter therapy at a September 30 seminar titled "Do You Control Stress or Does Stress Control You?" The seminar will be held from 9 a.m. 3:30 p.m. on campus. The cost is $80. "Although making people laugh is an important part of my presentation, my primary goal is to help people to develop a better sense of humor," said Dr. Jordan, formerly of Greenville. "There's a lot to laugh about if we have the right attitude. It's not unwelcome events that prevent people from enjoying life, but rather how we view those events."
