PENDLETON - Vickie Sharpe, of Anderson, is the recipient of Tri-County Technical College's Martha B. Parker Memorial Scholarship. Senator Marshall Parker and his wife, Martha, of Seneca, endowed this scholarship in memory of their daughter.

Ms. Sharpe is enrolled in the Office Systems Technology program at Tri-County and is a member of the Alpha Zeta Beta honor society. She is a 1983 graduate of McDuffie High School where she was active in the Future Business Leaders of America Club. She and her husband, John, have three children.

This perpetually endowed scholarship is awarded on a yearly basis to an S.C. resident.
