William Vernon Receives Joe F. Mason Memorial Scholarship

PENDLETON -- William Vernon III, of Piedmont, is the recipient of the Joe Mason Memorial Endowed Scholarship at Tri-County Technical College.

He is a 1997 graduate of Wren High School where he was named Best Senior Musician. He is studying Electronics Engineering Technology at Tri-County and is a drummer with the First Assembly of God Orchestra in Greenville.

He is the son of William and Susan Vernon of Piedmont.

This perpetually endowed scholarship was established by Daisy Mason, of Clemson, in memory of her late husband, Joe F. Mason.
