PENDLETON --- Tri-County Technical College will offer a Smart Fun for Kids program for three weeks in June at the College's main campus in Pendleton and at the Anderson Mall classroom location. Dates for the program are June 6-9, June 13-16, and June 20-23 for children ages 8-12.

Smart Fun Program Directors Trenna Metts and Sandra Strickland say the College is a firm believer in lifelong learning and has developed a collection of innovative children’s educational programming that is fun and will keep kids engaged while they are out of school this summer.

According to Metts, the main campus will offer programs such as Cooking with Manners, Bully Bots, Become a Published Author, Survivor, Wild and Wooly, Pet Lovers, Frame it, From Ola to the Cha-Cha, Golden Corner History and a Horse of a Different Color (offered in Starr, SC).

Strickland said the Anderson Mall location will offer Computer Fun and Kid Cop/Safety programs.

Participants will choose from the all day weekly program for $120/week or day weekly programs for $79/week. A Horse of A Different Color full day program is $175/week or ½ day program for $120/week. A limited shuttle service is available to those participants who wish to split their time between campus and the mall.
