Sixty-Two Tri-County Students Inducted
Into Alpha Zeta Beta Honor Society

PENDLETON - Sixty-two Tri-County Technical College students were inducted into the Alpha Zeta Beta (AZB) honor society during a recent ceremony on campus.

Initiates into the Alpha Zeta Beta chapter must have completed at least 12 hours of college work leading toward an associate degree and have attained a grade point ratio of 3.5 or better. Initiates also must be judged of good moral character and possess demonstrated qualities of good citizenship and service.

Guest speaker Greg Toney, who teaches public speaking at Tri-County, recognized the group's hard work and motivation and urged each of them to set goals.

Mr. Toney, who joined Tri-County in 1998, holds an undergraduate degree from Winthrop University and a master's from Auburn University.
