Tri-County Celebrates Legacy of African Americans During Black History Month

PENDLETON --- Tri-County Technical College will celebrate the legacy of African Americans, past and present, by hosting several events during Black History Month.

Anna Willis, an award winning quilt maker from Clemson, will be in the Student Center Cafeteria from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. on February 19.

Dr. Gary L. Burgess, superintendent of Anderson School District 4, will be the guest speaker on February 25. His presentation will begin at 1:25 p.m. in the Marshall Parker Auditorium.
