Two Community Leaders Join Tri-County's Foundation Board

PENDLETON --- Two community leaders, Mike Cannon and Jane Harris, joined Tri-County Technical College's Foundation Board this month.

Members of the Foundation Board raise money to supplement appropriations, thereby helping the College to meet the educational needs of the citizens of the tri-county area.

Mr. Cannon is owner of Cannon Marketing, Inc. He is an Oconee County native and lives in Anderson. He is vice chair of the Anderson County Disabilities Board and a member of the organization's parent group. He serves on the board of the Anderson County Department for Disabilities. He is a graduate of Forrest College. He and his wife, Brenda, have three children.

Mrs. Harris and her husband, Robert, are retired owners of Harris Marine in Seneca. She is a member of the Walhalla Daughters of the American Revolution, where she serves as historian. She is a member of the Seneca Woman's Club and serves on its scholarship committee. She is former vice president and secretary of Harris Marine. She also chairs the Architectural Review Committee and the Altar Guild for St. John's Lutheran Church. She manages H & R Properties, family land holdings.
