CFP® Certification Education Program Begins January 22

PENDLETON --- Tri-County Technical College is offering a series of classes over the next 18 months to prepare persons to apply for the CFP® Certification Examination. This new class will begin January 22 and will be held on Thursdays from 9 a.m. - noon in Ruby Hicks Hall.

Students who complete this program will be certified as eligible to apply for the CFP® Certification Examination. The program curriculum reflects the job knowledge needed by financial planners as determined the CFP® board. The schedule consists of the following sequential courses, taught by practicing local professionals and CFP® certificants: Fundamentals of Financial Planning, Insurance Planning, Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits Planning, Investment Planning, Estate Planning, Income Tax Planning and a comprehensive exam review.
