PENDLETON-- The H.O.W.-To church audio production tour, produced by Fits & Starts Productions, LLC, the nation's leading provider of audio seminars and workshops, will present a workshop Saturday, August 28, at Tri-County Technical College. The session will be held in the Marshall Parker Auditorium in Oconee Hall from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The workshop is geared to the church audio volunteer who operates the sound system in his or her place of worship and includes introductory and advanced training in microphones, consoles, speakers, amplifiers, signal processors and mixing and recording techniques. The workshop is convenient for volunteers because it will feature a full day of audio training in a hands-on setting at a local venue.
Well-known audio engineer Mike Sokol is the lead instructor, and the seminar will build upon the history of the Fits & Starts Productions, LLC audio series, recognized for its groundbreaking surround-sound tours where nearly 300 seminars have been conducted over the past five years.
