Johnny Crocker, Ricky Gibson Named
Tri-County's Textile Students of the Year

FOR RELEASE ON OCTOBER 8 AFTER 7 P.M.

PENDLETON --- Johnny Crocker and Ricky Gibson have been named Tri-County Technical College's Students of the Year for the Textile Management Technology Department.

They received plaques at the College's 29th Annual Textile Management Technology Scholarship Banquet held Tuesday evening.

Crocker is employed at Glen Raven, Inc. in Anderson and lives in Anderson with his wife, Tonya, and three sons. He is a member of West Anderson Church of God. His parents are Bill Crocker and Mary Blackwell.

Earlier this year, he received the Mayfair Leadership Award presented at the College's Awards Ceremony.

Gibson is employed at Glen Raven, Inc. He and his wife, Susan, have four children. His parents are Charlie and Odean Gibson.

The Student of the Year Award recognizes a student(s) who excels academically, demonstrates good citizenship and is committed to keeping textiles the number-one industry in South Carolina.
