Tri-County Faculty and Staff Receive
Awards for Service to College and State

PENDLETON - Tri-County Technical College faculty and staff received awards for long-term service to the College and the State of South Carolina at the annual spring convocation.

College Registrar Lorraine Frith, of Anderson, was honored for 30 years of service to the State.

Honored for 25 years of service to the College were Dot Bradley, of Seneca, a counselor in the Student Aid Office; Audra McPeak, of Clemson, chair of the Health Education Division; Butch Merritt, of Piedmont, director of Job Placement/Cooperative Education; Ron Talley, of Pendleton, Electronics Engineering Technology department head; and Dr. Steve Walter, of Clemson, dean of Academic Support Services.

Receiving 20-year pins for service to the State and the College were Abeda Basher, of Anderson, secretary for the Health Education Division; Willie Brock, a painter in the Maintenance Department; and Sid Durham, of Liberty, a counselor in the Admissions Department.

Receiving 20-year pins for service to the College were Deborah Coyle, of Anderson, director of graphics; Donnie Glymph, of Seneca, a counselor for Workforce Investment Act; and Debbie Nelms, of Pendleton, alumni/project development coordinator.

Bob Chiles, of Anderson, a counselor in the Admissions Department, received a pin for 20 years of service to the College.

Honored for 15 years of service to the College were Rick Bethea, of West Union, a counselor in the Student Aid Department; Norma Booth, of Liberty, administrative assistant to the dean of the Continuing Education Division; Dr. Tim Brown, of Honea Path, General Engineering Technology department head; Linda Crowe, of Walhalla, secretary for the Comprehensive Studies Division; Lisa Garrett, of Pendleton, public relations associate; Rosalind Hammett, of Anderson, a programmer analyst with the Computer Services Department; Wilma Johnston, of Anderson, purchasing officer with the Business Office; Ron Rash, of Clemson, English instructor; Dr. David Read, of Anderson, a counselor in the Counseling Center; Sally Stancell, of Central, microcomputer support specialist with the Computer Services Department; Joe Stearns, of Anderson, Mathematics instructor; and Dave Walker, of Easley, Machine Tool Technology department head.

Receiving 10-year pins for service to the State and the College were Brenda Clark, of Anderson, a secretary with the Arts and Sciences Division; Tom Glover, of Anderson, a computer operator in the Computer Services Department; Mary Heyer, of Anderson, secretary for the Health Education Division; Lynn Lollis, of Anderson, Practical Nursing Department Head; Tonia McClain, of Liberty, secretary for the Industrial and Engineering Technology Division; James Williams of Easley, dean of students; and Melinda Zeigler, of Pickens, secretary for the Business and Human Services Division.
