Janet Fuller is Associate Degree Nursing Department Head at Tri-CountyCONTACT: JANET FULLER, EXT. 1343 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 1/14/2004 PENDLETON --- Janet Fuller, an award-winning instructor in Tri-County Technical College's associate degree Nursing department, has assumed the duties of department head effective immediately. Fuller, of Seneca, has been teaching for the department for two years. In addition she serves as advisor for the College's Student Nurses Association chapter and received the Faculty Advisor of the Year at a state convention last year. The College's chapter also rated the highest percentage increase for state and national membership at the organization's annual convention. Under Fuller's leadership, Tri-County's chapter garnered 40 percent of the State awards presented at the convention. Fuller came to Tri-County from the Cabarrus College of Health Sciences School of Nursing where she worked for a decade as an instructor in the School of Nursing. She also worked as an ICU staff nurse at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC, for several years. She served in the U. S. Navy from 1975 - 86. She holds an R.N. diploma from the Marion County General Hospital School of Nursing and B.S.N. and M.S.N. degrees from UNC-Charlotte. She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and is certified in critical care. She also is a member of Sigma Theta Tau. She and her husband, James, have two children. | ||
