Lunch & Learn One-Hour Programs Planned at Tri-County Technical College

PENDLETON --- A series of one-hour Lunch and Learn training programs will be offered by Tri-County Technical College beginning May 4 and continuing through June 1.

The programs will be held on Wednesdays in the College's Business Training Center, located in the Anderson Mall. Each program features lunch and short, to-the-point training programs that can be taken during the lunch hour from noon - 1 p.m.

“Our Lunch and Learn program focuses on skills development to help employees improve professionally by providing them with useful information that they can start using when they get back to the office,” said Sandra Strickland, Business Training Center director. "In today’s busy workplace, it’s hard for some employees to take time off to improve their skills, so we felt that a lunch program would be an excellent way reach these folks.”

Programs include: Bringing Excellence to Your Customer Service (May 4), Preventing Identity Theft at Your Company (May 11), Stress Management (May 18), Organizing Time and Setting Priorities (May 25) and Getting Rid of the Office Clutter (June 1). Each program is $29 or the entire series of five programs can be taken for $130.
