Tri-County Faculty and Staff Receive
Awards for Service to College and State

PENDLETON - Tri-County Technical College faculty and staff received awards for long-term service to the College and the State of South Carolina at the annual spring convocation.

Dr. Marianne Taylor, English Department head, was honored for 25 years of service to the College. She resides in Woodruff.

Honored for 20 years of service to the State was Betty Dean, an administrative specialist in the Institutional Development Division. She lives in Clemson.

Receiving a 20-year pin for service to the State and the College was Jim Culbertson, of Anderson, Industrial Mechanics/Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technology department head.

Honored for 15 years of service to the College were Mimi Daniels, of Westminster, secretary for the Employment and Training Department; Claudia Poore, of Sandy Springs, circulation manager for the library; Donna Scarborough, of Anderson, director of computer services; Gary Spangenberg, of Clemson, Industrial Electronics Technology instructor; and Lou Wood, of Clemson, Developmental English department head.

Receiving 10-year pins for service to the State and the College were B.J. Ellis, of Anderson, chief of security; Renae Frazier, of Anderson, admissions specialist for the Admissions department; Lisa Gibson, of Seneca, personnel assistant; Dee Graham, of Anderson, administrative support specialist for the Business and Industry Training department; Polly Kay, of Anderson, Medical Laboratory Technology instructor; Neil Lark, of Townville, dean of the Continuing Education Division; Dr. John Mauer, of Clemson, history and humanities instructor; Dr. Sharon Miller, of Clemson, science instructor; Freddie Morgan, of Seneca, truck driver training instructor; Haley Sitton of Pendleton, director of development; Richard Smith, of Anderson, image specialist and web designer; Cindy Trimmier-Lee, of Seneca, coordinator of Student Support Services; Melvin Watson, of Pickens, an instructor in the Business and Industry Training department; and Carol Welch, of Anderson, manager of the Information Center.

Receiving 10-year pins for service to the State were Jan Arblaster of Seneca, associate degree nursing instructor; and Roger Burgess, of Marietta, Engineering Graphics Technology department head.

Honored for 10 years of service to the College was Christee Williams, of Pendleton, Veterinary Technology instructor.
