World Class Training Center Offers Complimentary Seminars During Open HouseCONTACT: JOHN BENSON, EXT. 2275 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 3/15/2002 PENDLETON Find out more about Tri-County's Technical College's World Class Training Center and take advantage of complimentary training sessions during an Open House set for Friday, March 22. The complimentary seminars are designed for persons looking to upgrade their professional skills or for business and industry associates seeking more information on these topics. Those who want to take advantage of the free sessions should call the World Class Training Center office by March 18. The first session will be "An Introduction to Kepner-Tregoe" (a problem-solving and decision-making methodology) from 8 9 a.m. The second seminar will be "Quality Through the Eyes of the Customer," led by Tri-County instructor Ron Humphries from 9:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m. The College recently combined two of its departments, the Business and Industry Training Department and the World Class Training Center, to enhance its ability to meet the training and education needs of local manufacturing companies, service industries and individuals seeking professional development. "We combined the strengths of both departments and are focusing our efforts on helping companies to achieve or exceed their performance goals," said John Benson, director of the World Class Training Center. "Although the departments merged, our mission remains the same-- to provide relevant, effective and affordable training and education to our customers," added Benson. "We welcome the public to drop by March 22 to see how our training can improve your bottom line. Our goal is to inform companies and individuals of the capabilities of the World Class Training Center."
