Applicants who complete the admission procedures and meet the requirements will be accepted as long as space is available. Prerequisite courses of BIO 210, MAT 120 OR MAT 103 and ENG 101 must be completed prior to entry into NUR 201. Students must complete 68 hours of college credit to graduate.
LPN Transition to RN (ADN)
A minimum of 14 semester hours of nursing credit will be awarded without educational mobility testing or validation if the applicant meets the following criteria:
- Graduation from an accredited, credit-bearing program
- A current, active, and unencumbered SC LPN license
- Completion of ENG 101, MAT 120 OR MAT 103, and BIO 210 with a grade of "C" or higher
- A GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Upon successful completion of NUR 201: Transition Nursing, credit will be awarded for NUR 101: Fundamentals of Nursing, NUR 106: Pharmacologic Basics, NUR 111: Common Health Problems.
