About the Board of Visitors
Established in 2019, the Tri-County Technical College Board of Visitors (BOV) serve as ambassadors and advocates for the College throughout the community, helping the College advance its mission and vision and promote its initiatives in a positive manner. The BOV also provide assistance, as needed, in meeting the College’s strategic directions and initiatives.
Membership is comprised of approximately 50 professionals representing a variety of industries across the tri-county region. Graduates, parents of students and graduates, and friends of the College are eligible to serve. Membership is by nomination only. Members are expected to serve a two-year term and may be appointed for an additional two-year term.
The BOV meets three times a year at one of TCTC’s campuses. Meetings typically take place in the morning on a Wednesday or Thursday. A financial contribution to the TCTC Foundation is encouraged but not required.
If you are interested in learning more about the BOV, please contact Karen Potter, senior director of strategic communication and engagement, at kpotter2@tctc.edu.
