The Anderson Campus provides the programs and services of Tri-County Technical College to the residents of the Greater Anderson area. Since 2007, the campus has served as Anderson's community college, delivering innovative educational resources and life-long learning opportunities for our local residents.
Conveniently located on Michelin Boulevard, the campus provides over 42,000 square feet of classrooms, labs, learning commons and collaboration space offering a variety of student services and programs to meet the needs of a diverse population - all easily accessible through public bus service (free to enrolled students) and plenty of commuter parking.
A unique feature of the Anderson Campus is our strong partnership with the Anderson Institute of Technology (AIT), the career and technology center that serves Anderson School Districts 3, 4 and 5. This center is located adjacent to the Anderson Campus and offers numerous programs that transition seamlessly into degree programs at TCTC – several of which have clearly defined Technical Career Pathways and even special scholarship funding.
A notable attraction located on the Anderson Campus is a full-scale reproduction of a one-teacher Rosenwald School, built entirely by students at the College. These schools were the primary facilities for the education of African-American children in the South from 1912 through desegregation. This project was a joint effort between the College, the Anderson County Museum and the surrounding community.
Also located at the Anderson Campus is our QuickJobs Development Center, a partnership with Anderson County that makes business and industry training even more accessible. QuickJobs programs last anywhere from a few days to six months and are designed to provide the training necessary to build a strong, viable workforce by giving individuals the skills to get back into the job market or advance in their current job. This economic development and training resource is also home to the local services of the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce www.dew.sc.gov.
