Tri-County Technical College Updates

Online Learning

We are moving to an online format through the remainder of the semester.

Tri-County Technical College is closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. At this point, it is essential that all employees and students are knowledgeable about how to prevent the transmission of respiratory viruses as well as how to watch for signs of infection. Any updates will be included on this page.

  • Tri-County’s Leadership Team is monitoring the evolving situation and coordinating closely with local and state health and public safety agencies, as well as local government, schools, and universities.
  • Tri-County developed a Coronavirus information website and will post regular updates.
  • The college will post reminders about washing hands and signage about healthy habits to help prevent viruses from spreading.
  • Tri-County’s custodial crews are sanitizing facilities day and night, including high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs and handles.
  • No-touch hand sanitation dispensers are available on all campuses and are supplemented with pump hand sanitizers, disinfecting wipes, and sprays.
  • The College is working to provide the appropriate sanitizing wipes for computer keyboards in labs and classrooms.
  • On the recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control, we have reminded anyone who begins experiencing fever, cough, or difficulty breathing to contact their primary healthcare provider and remain home until they are fever-free for 24 hours without the aid of medication.
  • The college is monitoring CDC travel alerts. The college is prepared to make additional adjustments to college-related travel as circumstances warrant.
