Melanie Gillespie

Director, Financial Aid

Melanie Gillespie has more than 20 years of experience in higher education, specifically in student financial services. Her areas of expertise include financial aid, regulatory compliance and financial literacy.

In her current role at Tri-County, Gillespie is responsible for planning and managing the administration and distribution of all financial aid funds, including state, federal and local resources. Prior to her role at Tri-County, she worked in a variety of financial aid roles at Southern Wesleyan University.  

Gillespie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and management and a Master of Arts degree in management and leadership from Southern Wesleyan University.
