Jim Wanner of Salem was appointed to the Commission in 2019. He was elected chairman in 2026.
Wanner is the Chairman and retired CEO of KeyMark, a data intelligence and software automation company headquartered in Liberty, S.C. Founded by Wanner on the foundation of being knowledgeable, trustworthy, and responsive, KeyMark helps clients in health care, manufacturing, financial services, government, and beyond, leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning
to maximize productivity and improve data-driven decision making.
Under Wanner’s leadership, KeyMark has evolved from one of Inc. Magazine’s 500 fastest-growing companies to being named automation partner of the year by trusted vendors, as well as a Top Workplace/Best Place to Work for 10 consecutive years. Wanner celebrates with KeyMark after 30 years of success, 29 of which he served as CEO.
Wanner graduated from James Madison University in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He serves on the Haystac Board and is a member of the Hyland Software Partner Advisory Council. He also has served on the boards for Pickens Habitat for Humanity and United Way of Pickens County and is an ambassador for the South Carolina Ports Authority.
