Jim Wanner serves as vice chair. He was appointed to the Commission in January 2019.
Wanner is the founder and CEO of KeyMark, an intelligent automation systems integrator headquartered in Liberty, S.C. KeyMark helps clients leverage technology such as artificial intelligence and machine learning to maximize productivity and increase efficiency. Built on the foundation of being knowledgeable, trustworthy, and responsive, KeyMark helps clients in health care, manufacturing, financial services, local governments, and beyond to reduce overall costs and improve upon manual, redundant, and labor-intensive processes.
Under Wanner’s leadership, KeyMark has consistently been named a top reseller by vendor partners and has been listed by Inc. Magazine as one of the 500 fastest-growing companies in the United States. His background is in intelligent automation and automated data management. Wanner is currently in his 27th year at KeyMark, 23 of which he has served as CEO.
KeyMark has been consistently named a Best Place to Work in South Carolina by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and SC Biz News. The company also was ranked 17th in the 2016 listing of South Carolina’s fastest-growing companies.
Wanner, whose background is in automated data management, graduated from James Madison University in 1988 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
He serves on the Haystac Board and is a member of the Hyland Software Partner Advisory Council. He also has served on the boards for Pickens Habitat for Humanity and United Way of Pickens County and is an ambassador for the South Carolina Ports Authority.
