BMW Scholars Program

The BMW Scholars Program allows students who are in manufacturing related degrees to attend class full-time at Tri-County Technical College while working part-time hours at BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC.

Students are able to further their education while gaining valuable experience in a high tech manufacturing environment and become potential candidates for full-time positions at BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC.

Students interested in maintenance technician co-op positions should consider majoring in Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, or General Engineering Technology. Students interested in production associate co-op positions should consider majoring in Industrial Supervision Technology or Automotive Technology. BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC will also consider students from the CNC Programming and Operations and Welding programs.

To be eligible for this program students must have a minimum GPA of 2.8 and must pass pre-employment testing administered by BMW officials. BMW recruits students entering college directly from high school. Since students are required to work 18 months to 2 years in the co-op assignment, a student should have earned no more that 12 credit hours in college.
