BOSCH Technical Scholars Program

Robert Bosch LLC in Anderson, SC offers an apprenticeship opportunity called the “Bosch Technical Scholars Program.” Selected candidates will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced multi-national corporation that employs over 402,600 employees worldwide. Candidates accepted into the Bosch Scholar Program will be hired as full- time Bosch associates and will receive full benefits. In the Bosch Scholar program, Scholars will receive the technical training needed to help them to gain all of the necessary skills needed to become a successful Bosch Technician. Upon successful completion of the 14-week program, Scholars will be become a Production Technician and will be placed into a Technician role at Bosch Anderson.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT AT BOSCH ANDERSON:
The Bosch Anderson facility, which currently employs over 1,200 associates, was founded in 1985 to produce fuel rails and has added production capabilities from a number of Bosch divisions to span many areas of the vehicle - including Powertrain Solutions, Automotive Electronics and Car Multimedia. Other products made at the plant include oxygen sensors, integrated fuel modules and transmission control modules. Outside of producing high-end automotive parts, Bosch Anderson is dedicated to corporate citizenship throughout the surrounding community. For over 25 years Bosch Anderson has provided assistance to the greater Anderson community by being active with organizations such as: Habitat for Humanity, Safe Harbor, March of Dimes, Adopt-A-Family, American Red Cross, AnMed Foundation, and FIRST Robotics.

 

BENEFITS:

  • Full-time employment (40 hours/week)
  • Ability to acquire crucial knowledge and on-the-job training to assist in gaining an entry level position as a Bosch Production Technician
  • Scholars will be paired with a mentor (one-to-one ratio) who will aid them in developing the skills necessary to become a successful production technician
  • 515 hours of supplemental technical training
  • Bosch associate from day one (not a temporary/contract employee)
  • Competitive hourly wage while being a Bosch Scholar, and a pay increase upon completion of the BTS program (additional performance-based pay increases will also be available)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be a recent graduate or enrolled in either a Mechatronics or IET program
  • Successfully complete a technical interview
  • Demonstrate the ability and/or aptitude to succeed as a Bosch Technician
  • Possess strong analytical, reasoning, and problem solving skills
  • Exemplify excellent time management skills
  • Commit to working 40 hours/week
  • Minimum GPA: 2.5
